Entrepreneurship and Leadership

The course teaches the basics of entrepreneurship, developing a business plan, venture formation, financing and marketing for an entrepreneurial venture. In parallel, it teaches the basic characteristics of leadership, evidence-based rules of success in the modern professional realm.

Problem: Conduct feasibility scoring of your Final Year Project using the First Screen matrix given below and give summary comments whether your FYP is a feasible startup or not. Briefly explain why its feasible or not.

Problem: Meet with at least three members of the BUITEMS community who is a janitorial worker, a security guard, or a gardener. Meet them well. Note their names and background, and get a happy selfie with them. Prepare the assignment on only one page that has the pictures, name and designation of the individuals.
Submit the assignment in hard copy (only one page).

presentations

Prepare and deliver a presentation on any characteristic of a Leader. You can also narrate real life stories to explain the importance of this characteristic. Explain how you are following the characteristic currently and how you plan you will follow it in your professional life. Each student will present individually. Duration is only 3 minutes.
